1st Saturday Shop Small
Join us in downtown Forsyth on the first Saturday of each month for our special 1st Saturday Shop Small event. Enjoy the sweet life in Forsyth and look for the shopping and dining specials sure to please! And don’t miss out on the special treat — Forsyth Mainstreet sponsors a free concert and food trucks on those first Saturday nights— May through August!
High Falls State Park

Forsyth Forsythia Festival
We kick off the beautiful spring season with one of the most exciting events of the year: The Forsythia Festival. This free, family-friendly event takes place the second weekend of March in downtown Forsyth. Activities include: a two-day arts and crafts show, food vendors, local restaurant special hours, 5K and one-mile fun run, sporting tournaments, live entertainment and more. Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Farmers Market Fridays
Every Friday beginning in May and lasting until October, purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, dairy, homemade soap, and natural and organic goods from local farmers at the Forsyth Farmers Market. Stop by anytime 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm.
Live Music & BBQ Sundays
Enjoy family-friendly fun at Hamlin Hills! Pick fresh produce, buy local products, and enjoy the Historic Farm Museum, a Petting Zoo, and live music & BBQ on Sundays starting at noon. Don’t miss seasonal events like the haunted corn maze or zombie paintball.

GRITS: The Musical. Based on the popular book GRITS (Girls Raised in the South) Friends Are Forevah, this original musical follows four Southern women from four different generations as they reminisce about their pasts and speak to their futures. Equal parts funny and heartwarming, with Southern charm to spare! March 15-24, 2024 at the Rose Theater.
Autism Awareness Festival, 5K Trail Race, & Family Fun Run
The Autism Awareness Festival, held on the last Saturday in April in Forsyth, GA. is a day of promoting community awareness, inclusion, and education about disability, while providing a place to foster friendships and show families facing developmental disability love and support. The festival includes a resource/craft fair, kids play area, 5K trail race, family fun run, local and professional entertainment, and food vendors. The trail race & family fun run start at 7:00 am April 27, 2024.
Old Hams, a comedy, is the hilarious story of aging actors, musicians and singers who go on the offensive when threatened with the loss of their home to a cunning lawyer and his unscrupulous partner. When the actors stage a clever plan to outdo the lawyer and romance pops up unexpectedly, the action becomes fast and furious.
