2. Join us for a FREE Birdhouse Decorating Event on 9/7 @ 10:00 AM at the Monroe County Artisan Guild on the Square. Please sign up as supplies are limited and first-come, first-served. Decorated birdhouses will be displayed in the Art Gallery and auctioned off!
3. Bid on one of the gorgeous birdhouses between 9/8 – 9/28

Jump in and get your feet wet. Have you ever wanted to get in the water and learn how to paddle a kayak? Then join us for a short lesson and then a 1 hr paddle around the lake. You must be prepared to have a good time and get wet. Reservations required. $20 fee.

High Falls Bass Tournament
Do you have what it takes to bring in that big bass? Then join us for a day of fishing for a record Largemouth Bass in the High Falls Lake. This tournament is open to all ages, experience levels, motorized ((9.9 HP limit) and non-motorized boats. Check-in will start at 7:00 AM at the park office. Weigh-in will begin at 3:00 PM. Prises will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Entry fee per boat( one or two-person teams) $35 Advance Registration $40 Day of Tournament

We are hosting our 3rd Annual Mission Possible 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 8 am -11 am at Mary Person High School.
Project Impact has selected Monroe County Habitat for Humanity as this year’s recipient to receive half of the proceeds and donations.
Monroe Habitat is currently in the Homeowner Selection process and gearing up to begin their next home build later this fall. The funds we raise will make a difference!!

8th Annual Anchor of Hope Golf Tournament
Have you ever got a bogey at The Club at River Forest? Anchor of Hope is hosting their 8th Annual golf tournament to raise money for their special programs. Looking for something funny and new? Then join the Children’s Theater Troupe as they present Hyonomous A. Frog. This unique show is filled with rich humor for adults and children as well as delighted physical humor for even the youngest theatergoer. Hyronomous, an inept and lonely frog prince, lives in a bog in the kingdom of Spamelot. Hyronomous is bored and unhappy as a frog. He’s larger than the other frogs and hates the taste of flies. One day, the good witch Gloria appears to tell him he was once a human price and it was a spell that turned him into an amphibian. To break this croak-filled wizardry, Hyronomous must be kissed by a maiden. In a hysterical scene, he learns how to walk like a human and sets off for the castle of Spamelot. Cost $5.00

Junior Ranger Day Camp
Our Junior Ranger program got a makeover this winter! We now offer site-specific Junior Ranger Badges (the wooden one pictured)! Each site has a unique badge for you to earn! Our badge can be earned through our monthly Day Camp! On the first Saturday of every month, we are offering a Junior Ranger Day Camp. The activities will vary from month to month. There is a 15 child limit per camp, so make sure you register early! The fee is $30 and the camp is for anyone age 5-15. Your child is required to wear weather appropriate clothing (that can get wet/muddy) and closed-toed shoes. You will also need to provide a water bottle, a lunch, and a snack for your child.
