About Forsyth, Georgia
Forsyth, Georgia is located in Monroe County on I-75, just 25 miles north of Macon and less than 60 miles south of Atlanta. Founded in 1823, the downtown historic district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
As of the 2015 census, the population was 4,004. Forsyth, where heroes train, is home to the Georgia Department of Corrections and the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
