Paddling Down The Ocmulgee RiverThe Ocmulgee River boasts the longest continuous water trail in the State of Georgia. It’s a great place to spend a few hours or the whole day! Paddle your way down a while or splash in the shallows. Be on the lookout for alligators around here. I’ve never seen one…but maybe you can find one! You’ll meet plenty of friendly folks on the river.

You can stop by the Whistle Stop Café, pick up some honey from The Honeycomb (make sure you tell Mr. Tommy where you heard about him) and take the kids to the park. There’s no telling how many locals you’ll see paddling or fishing here. It’s a favorite local spot!
