We kick off the beautiful spring season with one of the most exciting events of the year: The Forsythia Festival. This free, family-friendly event takes place the second weekend of March in downtown Forsyth. Activities include a two-day arts and crafts show, children’s fair, 5K and one-mile fun run, sporting tournaments, live entertainment, and more.

Autism Awareness Festival
The Autism Awareness Festival, sponsored by Anchor of Hope Foundation, is held on the last Saturday in April. It is a day of promoting community awareness, inclusion, and education about disability, while providing a place to foster friendships and show families facing developmental disability love and support. The festival includes a resource/craft fair, kids play area, 5K trail race, family fun run, local and professional entertainment, and food vendors.
Sixth Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo

Soak in High Falls Lake and enjoy the setting sun in this peaceful 3-mile canoe trip to Buck Creek. The ranger will give a short lesson on the history of High Falls Lake and the local ecology.
