Historic Train Festival
Forsyth’s biggest fall event is the Historic Train Festival in November. This annual event celebrates the history of railway travel in Forsyth with numerous vendors, a model train exhibit, a children’s art show, live entertainment, and many more activities for the whole family to enjoy. The festival began in 2013 as a celebration of the 175th year of the railroad in Forsyth. The event has grown more and more popular each year!
Fall Festival on the Square
Celebrate Halloween with us on the historic square! The streets are closed so kids can trick or treat in a fun and safe environment. Local businesses distribute candy and kids can enjoy games, inflatables, and festival food.
City Yard Sale
Everyone loves a good yard sale, and you will really enjoy ours! Sell your old clothing, furniture, or knick-knacks, or shop for new-to-you items.
Green Tomato Festival
In October, head over to nearby Juliette for the Green Tomato Festival, a celebration of the movie that made Juliette world-famous. Eat at the delicious Whistle Stop Café, browse booths of goods made by local artisans, and browse the unique shops and boutiques of Juliette.
